The purpose of personnel selection and placement process in Petline is to fill current vacant positions with the most suitable candidate who is selected according to basic competencies which comply with the company vision, mission, targets and corporate culture, and with such competencies specific to the particular job/position.
Applications to Petline can be communicated via different resources such as mail, e-mail, internet site or recommendations by company employees. all applications transmitted are recorded in Petline application pool. When there is a vacant position, a research is carried out on that data base, and candidates that meet necessary qualifications required by the job description are evaluated.
Human Resources Management carries out the first competency-based job interview with the candidates in the pool. Candidates who are determined to have the competencies necessary for the position are invited to a second interview with the manager of the department where they are to be recruited. The candidate who leaves a favorable impression in both interviews is offered the job by the Human Resources Department.
Applications of those candidates who are not accepted at the end of interviews are kept at the database for 6 months to be evaluated for other positions. Candidates are informed in writing that they have not been placed to the position for which they have been evaluated.
