It consists of a tank site with a concrete ground area of 6.500 m2, and facility, administrative service building surrounded by concrete roads and fire pump room established on an area of 3.766 m2. 2.378 m2 of the terminal consists of tanker filling area with concrete floor and of lubricant warehouse.
PRODUCTION TYPE AND CAPACITY:
Körfez Terminal with a capacity of 24 tanks and 21.000 m3 has been established on an area of 12.644m2, and positioned near Tüpraş İzmit Refinery. Körfez Terminal is subject to Type A General Warehouse Regime. 16 pieces of tanks act as warehouse tanks. Imports are carried out via vessels that berth Petline Platform.

ISPS certified until 2009 as per ISPS code. Also, continuous security is assured via CCTV camera system. All measures have been taken on the platform in terms of fire safety.
TERMINAL FIRE SAFETY SYSTEMS
In 2003, the whole fire system of the terminal has been re-projected and built. Projects have been structured at a high standard according to NFPA and the regulation on fire protection of buildings. Many of the materials used are imported materials approved by UL and FM. |
